Facelift Surgery

▍The introduction of double-layer composite facelift

With age, there will be wrinkles on the forehead, drooping eyebrows, drooping eyelids, and the distance between the double eyelids will become smaller and smaller. This is because the facial skin, muscles, and fascia are constantly aging. If you want to improve these conditions, you can have facelift surgery. A facelift is to adjust the loose skin on the face and remove the excess skin to restore the skin's tightness and elasticity. The double-layer composite facelift, which is different from the traditional facelift and endoscopic facelift, regulates the epidermis and fascia layers to achieve dual effects. This procedure surpasses the previous facelifts and increases the time of maintenance.

▍Forehead facelift, mid face facelift and lower facelift

“Forehead Lift” (brow lift surgery):

This procedure can lift up the sagging forehead and remove the excess skin. In addition to improving the wrinkles on the forehead by skin tightening, you can also improve the problem of sagging eyelids by raising the position of the eyebrows. The standard forehead lift not only tightens the skin on the forehead, but also removes the corrugator muscles between the eyebrows and near the root of the nose. All in all, in addition to improving the firmness of the skin on the forehead, the forehead lift surgery is mainly to focus on eye rejuvenation.

Mid and lower face lifts:

Mid and lower face lifts can treat nasolabial folds caused by sagging malar fat pad and puppet lines causedby sagging cheeks, and those surgeries can also improve the chin lines.

The surgical method starts from the hairline of the temple, extends down to the front of the ear, passes through the earlobe and then wraps around the back of the ear. Physician then gently peels off the face to the superficial fascia layer, and the skin will be naturally pulled upward after tensioning. The excess skin needs to be cut off. The incision in front of the ear will fade after a period of time, so there is no need to worry about the incision appearance.

The mid-face lift is more complicated than the forehead lift because of the complex blood vessels and nerves in the mid-face and neck. The surgery requires extra care, and the operation time is relatively long, usually over 3 hours. A drain is needed to place behind the ear for about 2 to 5 days. The face swelling may last 2 to 3 weeks.

▍Full face lift:
Full face lift is the combination of forehead facelift and mid-face facelift surgeries, indicating this operation is more complicated than any single one with longer operation time and recovery period. However, the higher the price, the greater the outcome. The full face lift can improve the sagging and aging of the whole face and the neck at one time.
